Aberdeen-headquartered multi-role emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs) specialist Sentinel Marine today announces a new name and brand identity: Cyan Sentinel.
The rebrand follows the majority investment made last year by Cyan Renewables a Singapore-based pioneer in in offshore wind vessel operations. The change marks a new chapter in the company’s growth, while reaffirming that it remains very much a locally managed and operated Scottish business, with its head office, leadership team and operations continuing to be based in Aberdeen.
Cyan Sentinel continues to own and operate one of the youngest and most advanced fleet of ERRVs in the UK, supporting the traditional energy, offshore wind, fisheries and marine protection sectors.
Rory Deans, CEO of Cyan Sentinel says,
“This rebrand reflects our evolution as a company — one that now has the backing of a global partner with shared values and complementary expertise.
“While our name has changed, our DNA has not. We remain a Scottish business with our people, operations and decision-making firmly rooted in Aberdeen. The investment from Cyan Renewables allows us to grow and diversify our fleet to meet the demands of both the traditional energy sector and the fast-expanding offshore wind market along with marine protection roles.”
Cyan Sentinel will continue to provide the same trusted, high-quality marine services it has become known for, while exploring new opportunities in the renewables sector through its collaboration with Cyan Renewables.
Rory Deans continues,
“We are proud to see Sentinel evolve into Cyan Sentinel — a name that symbolises the strong partnership between our organisations. Together, we combine global reach with local expertise, strengthening our shared commitment to safety, sustainability and supporting the UK’s offshore energy transition.”
The company’s rebrand includes a new visual identity and updated website reflecting its broadened focus across both offshore wind and traditional marine support operations.
