Cyan Renewables and Pentarch Offshore Solutions are pleased to progress a Strategic Investment MOU to explore the staged expansion of the Port of Edrom into a multi-user marine, energy and logistics precinct serving south-eastern Australia and supporting broader national supply-chain resilience.

Building on an established port asset at Twofold Bay, the proposed development seeks to unlock the potential and additional capacity across several strategically important sectors:

  • Fuel security and energy resilience — exploring additional bulk fuel storage, marine distribution and coastal supply-chain capability.

  • Critical minerals logistics — supporting the storage, handling and movement of strategically important mineral resources.

  • Sovereign maritime capability — enabling opportunities for Australian coastal shipping and integrated regional logistics.

  • Offshore energy and industrial services — creating potential complementary capacity to support offshore wind supply chains, marine services, offshore decommissioning and associated industrial activity.

The vision is to progressively develop Port of Edrom as a flexible, multi-user, multipurpose facility that complements existing infrastructure and strengthens the resilience and capacity of Australia's marine, energy and industrial supply chains.

Cyan Renewables and Pentarch Offshore Solutions intend to engage with relevant government and industry stakeholders to further assess the opportunity, establish a practical development pathway and identify the commercial and infrastructure requirements needed to support investment.

The proposed expansion represents a unique opportunity to build on existing port infrastructure, attract private-sector investment and generate long-term regional employment and economic benefits. Development would proceed in stages, subject to feasibility, approvals, demonstrated demand and appropriate commercial commitments.
